The Tri-Cities

This wonderful area of beautiful British Columbia has it all!
The Tri-Cities, plus the villages of Belcarra and Anmore, offer every type of lifestyle, recreation and business opportunity. Whether you want waterfront, family neighbourhood or highrise urban living, you will find it in one of the fastest growing regions in Canada. For more info, visit each city with the links below or the top menu:

Coquitlam

Only 30 - 40 minutes from downtown Vancouver, Coquitlam is the place to be! Whether you're looking for active recreation or more leisurely activities, Coquitlam offers some of the finest recreation and leisure facilities available anywhere in British Columbia. The whole family will enjoy the City Centre Aquatic Complex featuring an Olympic-size 50 metre pool, leisure wave pool, waterslides, therapeutic whirlpool, exercise room and snack bar.

Port Coquitlam

Port Coquitlam's central location and unique setting along the Pitt and Fraser Rivers combine to produce truly exceptional living and recreation environments. As the geographical centre of the Lower Mainland, Port Coquitlam offers easy access to downtown Vancouver and to the rapidly developing Fraser Valley.

New residential developments and increased commercial and industrial activity allow Port Coquitlam's 47,000 residents to live a small city lifestyle and enjoy big city amenities. Recent growth has revitalized Port Coquitlam while providing increasing numbers of new jobs and new services.

For example, Shaughnessy Station, a 20-acre development with 164,000 square feet of commercial building space, has Safeway, and Canadian Tire as anchor tenants with retail, banking and office space available. The downtown core and northside centre provide excellent shopping as well as commercial and professional services.

Opportunities for recreation and leisure activities are plentiful in Port Coquitlam. The newly-renovated Hyde Creek Centre has something for everyone: lengths pool, water park, fitness rooms, squash and racquetball courts, gym, teen centre, pro shop and restaurant. The PoCo Recreation Centre, features two ice rinks. If golf is your game, Carnoustie Golf & Country Club is open year round. For hikers, joggers, cyclists and horseback riders, the popular PoCo Trail offers a unique experience as it winds its way through the city providing an easy escape to nature. Portions of the trail closely follow the rivers, and provide excellent opportunities to observe waterfowl and other wildlife.

Port Moody

From its pristine setting on Burrard Inlet, Port Moody offers unlimited opportunities for outdoor activities to breathtaking nature trails and wildlife observation. Enjoy the beautiful mountains and forests of coastal British Columbia or the protected waters which surround Port Moody while being only 30 minutes from Vancouver, Canada's third largest city. There's plenty you can see and do in and around Port Moody.
